Just use the 'forceSmoothing" property in the onLoad event.

You're right, SCPlugin isn't supported on Snow Leopard, and actually looks like it's not being developed anymore.

I twigged back in July to @font-face and wrote a fairly complete tutorial on the subject (more information for those that want it).

Best part of FontSquirrel's "Font Kit Generator" is that it actually FIXES TTF fonts that have errors. It's the new 'best practice' for using @font-face.

Find your font, then run it through the font generator.

It even spits out a nice test page that you can upload to your server.
