I've been searching for a nice svn client to use in OSX: I wanted something free, lightweight, simple like Tortoise for Windows.
With svnX I was able to do the basics, but everything was very confused.
Finally I found it!
SCPlugin
It adds new item subversion in the right-click menu. Just like Tortoise, simple and efficient.
Plus it's free and open-source... cool!
Quoted from the original website:
"The goal of the SCPlugin project is to integrate Subversion into the Mac OS X Finder. The inspiration for this project came from the TortoiseSVN project."
I don't understand why this is only "advertised" by a few people... this is what I needed from the beginning and it rocks!

What's wrong with using SVN from the command line? You're on a Mac man!
I do most of my development with Aptana Studio Community Edition, also free. You ought to look into it.

Hi Claude, thanks for posting!
I prefer the visual approach against the command line, when it's possible.
You know... just a right-click
For the development I'm a fan of TextMate: lightweight, essential and powerful.
Cheers!

This client doesn't offer half of the functionality of TortoiseSVN, no merge, no revert revision, no patch creation, and from the look of things the development stopped

Hi Rpv,
I've been thinking about your words, and with a bit of delay I wrote a new post about free SVN clients for Mac OSX with more advanced features.

SCPlugin isn't supported on Snow Leopard and looks like it won't be for a while.

Hi Lisa,
You're right, SCPlugin isn't supported on Snow Leopard, and actually looks like it's not being developed anymore.
I'd like to point you out another post about free SVN clients for Mac OSX, hopefully you'll find the one you like:

Thanks for your comment!

Actually it is being supported still and it does work on Snow Leopard. According to the website and the change log.

Hi Jeremy,
Thanks for the info, you're right about the support for Snow-Leopard!
And that's a clear proof that SCPlugin is not a dead project.
These are good news.
